Point A Hotels partner with Shooting Star Chase at their official launch party
On Thursday 23rd March 2017, Queensway celebrated the launch of their new brand, Point A Hotels! It was a fantastic evening at the brand new property in London Shoreditch with live music, a speech from Naushad Jivraj, CEO and a live art creation by renowned local illustrator Vic Lee.
One of Point A Hotels' brand values is "we champion our communities". Point A Hotels has partnered with Shooting Star Chase, a London based leading children's hospice charity caring for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions. They support families from diagnosis to end of life and throughout bereavement with a range of nursing, practical, emotional and medical care.
At the launch party, we auctioned one of Vic Lee's fantastic pieces of art, the proceeds of which went to Shooting Star Chase.
We have recently extended our support for this very worthwhile cause by donating items from hotel rooms that are being refurbished, such as mattresses, beds and televisions which can be used in their hospices and also sold in their charity shops.
Pier Vimpany, acting CEO of Shooting Star Chase wrote to us saying, "Without the help of organisations like yours we wouldn't be able to provide excellent care, doing all we can to help make life special and fun, helping families celebrate good times and helping them through tough times...Queensway Group are a fantastic example of a company making a difference in a very significant way".
