Expanding our Starbucks footprint with a new store in Sale, Trafford
Sale is a commuter town in Trafford, just southwest of Manchester. The new unit is located in the centre of Sale’s main shopping street and close to the Metrolink station. The new store at Sale will generate 12 jobs in the area. The building was originally constructed as a Parr’s Bank which came to Sale in 1894 and still retains much of its historic charm.
At Starbucks, it is as much about the product as it is about the experience. In Starbucks’ own words, “our stores become a haven, a break from the worries outside, a place where you can meet friends. It is about enjoyment at the speed of life – sometimes slow and savoured, sometimes faster. Always full of humanity.”
Each Starbucks store is individually designed and in Sale, the design talks about the origin of Starbucks and illustrates the story of the Starbucks icon, the Siren. Hand painted artwork, carefully selected furniture and timber screens combined with the iconic building and sincere hospitality will create a truly memorable customer experience.
We anticipate that the Starbucks store in Sale will open towards the end of 2016.
